Take in a baseball game, let the kids run wild at Pinch’s Playground, and check out TrackMan, the electronic umpire system being tested for MLB. Kayak around sunken warships at Mallows Bay

Seeing the Mallows Bay Ghost Fleet should be on everyone’s travel bucket list. Mallows Bay is a national marine sanctuary home to over 100 abandoned steamships and vessels. Most of the boats were designed for use in World War I, but some date back to the Civil War! The best way to experience Mallows Bay is by kayak. Bring your own boat or sign up for a guided tour. Plan ahead—the tours sell out fast!

If you prefer to stay on shore, you’re still in for a treat. Bring your binoculars and walk along the water’s edge. You might see herons, bald eagles, and ospreys.
